Uma Educational & Technical Society, Kakinada is a Registered Nongovernmental Voluntary organization. Its founder Executive Director Mr. S.P. Reddy laid the foundation stone during 1988. Its sister organization Uma Manovikasa Kendram which is affiliated to UETS, is a flagship rehabilitation center for disabled, which plays a vital role in prevention, Correction of further occurrence of disability, equalization of opportunities, awareness creation, education, enhancing the quality of life and integration of disabled into the mainstreams of society.

The organization has dedicated and committed for the cause of action towards promotion of inclusive, barrier free and right based society for the differentlyabled. The noble view of the organization is to render services with clear vision, real mission and strong commitment to all kinds of disabilities for their welfare, education and rehabilitation.
